The Central Coast has been the perfect place to raise my family and I want to ensure it stays that way for local residents. I will fight for:
– Local jobs that give our kids a future
– World class schools, TAFEs and Universities
– Better roads and public transport so we have less travel time and more family time
– A first class hospital so people don’t have to leave the Coast just to get basic medical care
– A safe community to live in.
I believe a local candidate should focus on the local community.
Since the election of the Liberal Government in 2013 youth unemployment has gone up, the daily commute has got worse, wages have stagnated while prices have risen and we still don’t have basic health services such as a palliative care unit at Gosford Hospital.
I believe we need less slogans and more action. I believe our Member of Parliament should be a local who is committed to addressing local issues. I believe the local community has had enough of the Liberal’s broken promises.
I work for Coast Shelter in Gosford and have worked in and around healthcare for 25 years. I currently sit on the Board of Kamira Women’s Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre. I am a non-affiliate member on the Board of Lifeline Australia and an Advocate for White Ribbon Australia. I am committed to the health and safety of our local community.
Over the last three years, I have had the privilege of speaking with thousands of Coasties about the issues that matter to them. I understand that you want Canberra to focus on jobs, the cost of living, health and education. Canberra needs to focus on us, not their daily political fights.
I will work hard for the people of the Central Coast. I have the passion, care, dedication, honesty and integrity needed to represent our community in Canberra.
