The total number of local resident workers on the Central Coast has declined over 43 percent since the election of the Abbott – Turnbull Government in 2013.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics Labour Force Survey data reveals there were over 323,000 local resident workers on the Central Coast in December 2013. That number had dropped to under 183,000 by June 2017.

The findings are consistent with data showing the youth unemployment rate on the Central Coast has spiked to over 18 percent while the overall unemployment rate is higher than that for the rest of New South Wales.

Fewer jobs, higher unemployment. That’s the Liberal’s economic record on the Central Coast.
